A few years ago, somewhere in Athens, the publishing company MVPublications was created by two journalists with a passion for sports & lifestyle. With their principles, journalistic ideals and values. always carrying a strange, perhaps utopian world, where the path of romance intersects with dreamy designs, with a dose of cynicism, they decided to make their dream come true.
The superstars of sports, who charm the crowd, who share generous emotions, who are recognizable and compose role models for their fans, did not land one night on the field, or on the floor, coming from an unknown world. The sports superstars had something in common with thousands of their fellow human beings: Talent! But this talent never proved to be enough, without him toiling, sweating, crying, getting frustrated, making noise and getting up.
This is exactly why MVPublications was born, as it was named one night, just days before its first book was published. To record the history of people who are living examples for all of us, who want to set goals and achieve them. Biographies and autobiographies serve this need. It is not the eye in the keyhole of a room, which has nailed to the ceiling the glass ball where the dark moments of the life of a sports star are now reflected in the light. It is much more than that. It is a life lesson.
The sports book is not on the sidelines. It is literature, and at least that will forever be the goal of MVP… To make and produce sports literature!
