In fact, the company took off in the 1990s, when hip hop culture adopted its oversized clothing, making it popular with rappers and celebrities. Snoop Dogg's choice to wear an oversized Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt during his appearance on Saturday Night Live in March 1994 sent sales soaring. After its successful debut, the brand remained at the top with a variety of collections, including the Hilfiger Collection, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored, men's, women's and children's clothing, jeans, accessories and shoes.
