The Ralph Lauren Company, founded in 1967 by Ralph Lauren, is a leader in the fashion, marketing and creation of premium apparel, footwear and accessories. Lauren began his career creating men's ties and soon launched his first men's collection, Polo. In 1969, Bloomingdale's department stores began selling exclusively Polo Ralph Lauren products.
