Our story begins about 40 years ago in Heraklion, Crete, when the first Cosmos Sport store opened in 1982, focusing on customer satisfaction, product and sports culture. Over the next few years, we maintained our steady growth, while expanding our activities in major urban centers, as well as Cyprus. As of 2021, we’re a member of JD Sports Fashion Plc., and now have 6 commercial brands (Cosmos Sport, JD Sports, Sneaker10, SlamDunk, Rundome, Sportsfactory), 90+ physical retail stores, 9 cutting edge online stores, and over 1,300 employees in Greece and Cyprus. With the core value of "Together We Make Cosmos A Better Place", through a multitude of corporate social actions, we aim to always stay connected to our people and the wider social needs, focusing on how we can all make 'Cosmos' better together!
